maxfishrr opens for Kromi at Out Cold Vol. 8 in Lisle on Friday, November 6
CHICAGO, October 2026. maxfishrr, the Chicago DJ and producer behind tech house with grit, opens for Kromi at Out Cold Vol. 8 at Basecamp in Lisle, Illinois, on Friday, November 6, 2026, with Kings of Class, Ston Don and Draztik J also on the bill.
The night caps a first season on Chicago stages. In June, maxfishrr played Bassment Beats at Everything Bar, the first public show in the city, and closed the night in front of a room full of friends and new faces. Bassment Beats brought maxfishrr back in August, and the summer ran from a patio party at Nando's Peri Peri in Naperville in May to Summer Grooves at Matilda/Babyatlas in August.
maxfishrr grew up playing guitar and drums and came to electronic music through Skrillex. The releases so far are remixes and edits, most of them free downloads on SoundCloud: a Culo remix for Pitbull and Lil Jon that lists support from Marco Carola and Paco Osuna, ADÉLA's Nicole Kidman, Ty Dolla $ign's Blasé, and edits of Migos, Travis Scott and Pop Smoke. A single with Redlined Records is in the works, pairing that gritty tech house with the label's UK house.
“Out Cold is going to be an absolute electric show from start to finish. I’m excited to bring my gritty and aggressive style of tech house to complement Kromi,” said maxfishrr.
maxfishrr is booking club shows in Chicago and beyond.
