FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dj.Manny Manny releases Defeated on Deep Elite on Sunday, October 25
NEW YORK, October 2026. Dj.Manny Manny, the Bronx DJ and producer, releases Defeated, a heavy industrial techno single, on Deep Elite (Proton) on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
Defeated is built for dark warehouse floors and late night sound systems: a 132 BPM industrial drive, a 165 BPM peak remix, heavy sub basslines, long stretches of instrumental tension and sharp rhythmic precision.
It is the second label release in less than a month. THIS IS MY LIFE came out on UFO Recordz on October 9, four minutes at 172 BPM in F minor, alongside recent label work with Hz Recordings. Earlier in the year Mescalina Records released DJ IN THE VIBE in April, and July brought the first releases on NYC Vitals Productions, the Dj.Manny Manny imprint: GLOWING HORIZON, LIFE CONTROL and FUTURISTIC UPLIFT. PRETTY NOT LOVE followed in August.
The sound today is techno, hard techno, psy trance and hardgroove at 150 to 170 BPM, made for peak time. It comes after years of house. Dj.Manny Manny was born and raised in Washington Heights, posted house mixes to Mixcloud from 2010 and hosted the Manny In The Mix Radio Show from 2012 to 2015, all alongside a career as an emergency room administrator in New York City healthcare that ended with retirement in August 2017.
“With ‘Defeated,’ I wanted to strip away the clutter and let the heavy industrial groove, sub-bass, and percussion do all the talking. Whether it’s locking into that dark 132 BPM drive or pushing the tempo to peak-time levels, it’s built for the moment on the floor when the energy takes over and doesn’t let go,” said Dj.Manny Manny.
